Social Media, texts to this poster is stirring up conversations regarding a new music release. There is a smell in the air and it is spreading quickly. This is not a literal odor but a 'smell of something fishy' regarding the making of the hit song "Famalay" by Skinny Fabulous, Machel Montano & Bunji Garlin. So what are we saying or trying to imply here. We have two songs that you will want to listen... Famalay and Family by Mad Skull out of SVG.

Family, sung by Mad Skull, came out of the SVG carnival in 2014. Famalay is a new music releas for  Carnivals in 2019. The idea for "Famalay" came from Skinny Fabulous out of SVG. Can you see what is going on here? The question to be asked is did Gamal Doyle aka Skinny Fabulous get the idea for Famalay from Family? That is OK, and should not be an issue but what about similarities between both songs?

The message is the same for both songs... feting with family. Madskull sings, "Blood it thicker, blood, blood thicker than water...... jump up with your family!"

In Famalay, Bunji sings, "Well, let me tell you one time; family is family and that different from Bloodline; some say dem is blood but them don't want to see the sunshine... We jumping with we family!"

Now you can did into both songs and find similarities in the story-line. In the end we can celebrate both songs and maybe, just maybe bring back Mad Skull's "Family" alongside Skinny's "Famalay" for Carnival 2019.

Yes, there will be questions but in the end people will celebrate both songs and fete and have fun for carnival 2019. We did this post because of 'brewing conversations on Social Media". We are not accusing anyone of anything but simply followed the Social Media talk and messages sent to this blog. As Voice said in "Smile"... "I hope they eh vex"!
