Every Carnival season has its own story, memories are made and sometimes a feeling cannot leave you... that is  the case for period 1990... it's a feeling that we can relive in 2019.

This one is entitled "Shake Down" sung by the incredible Nadia Batson with the smooth music machine of De Red Boyz taking us back to a time when 'de whole fete used to shake down'!

If you are a fan of good music then you have to be a fan of De Red Boyz. Add the energy and engaging singing style of Nadia Batson and the result is a sweet music shake down that reminds us about the way we used to party... taking it all back to 1990.

"So when you say party" then it is really "party party"! Now one may ask what is the song all about? Shake down could mean 'extortion', a through search, a process or period of adjustment but in this case, as it relates to the music, one has to assume that it is a "boisterous dance"! We think that it is all about how people behaved in fetes back in the day (in this case 1990); noisy, energetic cheerful and at times, rowdy. Our advice, just embrace the vibe, embrace the sweetness of Nadia Batson and fete in such a manner that 2019 becomes memorable year for you and your friends.
