As carnivals in the Caribbean Basin rise and burn brightly, the end of the road is not far away as  this summer brings to an end these annual festivals. The attention then turns to North America and the United Kingdom. Today we feature new music from a friend of this Blog; the artiste is Batch and his song is entitled "Bend Down". This is a new Soca release just in time for Notting Hill 2018, in the UK.

Off the back of his first release for 2018, 'Hold On Tight', Batch has been a man on high demand. Making appearances and sharing the stage with some household names of the Soca world at various carnival themed fetes leading up to the UK’s Carnival. Batch took the stage by storm, preforming at fetes such as Agua London,  Jam Jouvert, Trini Park Lime, Carnival Expo, Summer Solstice, Soca Frenzy and Acton Carnival.

As the Carnival season descends upon the UK, Batch who works closely with ShakerHD, has cemented his name and now finds himself in a prominent place with his new release 'Bend Down'. This energetic track (Produced by Shaker HD) has already been tipped by the local disc jockeys to be a contender for the UK Road March title.

Fans of the artiste have taken to social media such as Instagram and Snapchat showcasing their love for the new release and promoting the song. The music and vocals will succeed or fall prey to the 'finicky ways of Soca music fans'. However, Sokah2Soca lends its continuing support to this very promising artiste. We wish Batch much success with his new music release for Notting Hill Carnival 2018.
