Ding Dong is funny in life (infectious laughter) and pokes fun at himself in song... "Ah true me ah DJ fi Bunji but now ah need a DJ fi meeee"!
The Viking camp has to take credit for Ding Dong's emergence... yes, his radio peers poked fun at him when he talked about becoming an artiste; he did not quit and persevered finding a permanent home on Sokah2Soca!
Indeed, he played his part not just as Bunji's DJ but as a good student and here we are with the release of "Stay In Yuh Lane". This is the emergence of 'Viking Ding Dong' not just 'DJ Ding Dong'!
Now the joke is on everyone else who doubted and teased this talented DJ turned singer... we like what we are hearing. We like Viking Ding Dong's style... he does not sound like anyone else on OJO and adds a solid cast member to the Viking Family of artistes (all jokes aside and as long as he learns to "Stay In Yuh Lane"; smooth sailing from this point forward for Viking Ding Dong)...

On two previous posts we erroneously reported that Ding Dong performed with Bunji Garlin on "Live Good" and Naila's "Birthday Song", we were wrong! Obviously we confused Viking Ding Dong with Jamaica's Dancehall artiste 'Ding Dong'. Kemar Christopher "Ding Dong" Dwaine Ottey (born September 29, 1980) is a Dancehall reggae artist and dancer. We thank Maksym for the correction and made adjustments to the erroneous posts!
