Soca music lyrical content has been scrutinized and criticized much in the past. This has been the case because of poor lyrical content and rise of 'back-a-yard' productions. The key was to incorporate wine and jam and bubbling and find a hook that would have the young massive jamming and behaving mischievously. Today that has changed.
