Gee Gee Ree | Crazy | Trinidad &Tobago 2017

Don't you just love it when a word/phrase you have not used in a long time pops up and becomes en vogue again? That is the case with the phrase "Gee Gee Ree". This  is a Trinidad and Tobago idiom and it simply means 'nervous, excited and sometimes out of control. Today we present 'Gee Gee Ree', the song, penned by George La Barrie and sung by Edwin "Crazy" Ayoung. This is new music for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2017.

'Crazy' is on fire with new music releases for Carnival 2017. This song, however, was released late last year on When Steel Talks. It was composed and for the Panorama Competition in Trinidad and Tobago. Both 'Pamberi' and Havard 'Harps' steebands will be playing this song for the Panorama competition in 2017.

Crazy, has captured the spirit of Carnival with this very melodious rendition. The lyrical content exposed  our Trinidad and Tobago local dialect (Trinidad idiom) to the World. Crazy's vocal delivery was on spot complimenting the lyrical content conceived by George La Barrie. We enjoyed listening to the song.
