Riddim For D Road | KI & 3Veni | Trinidad & Tobago 2014

This is another new release from KI & 3Veni  and it is a good one indeed. If you have been paying attention to this young man you probably noticed that he has been making music for the mainstream Soca market and not staying in the Chutney Soca music genre. He is the reigning Chutney Soca Monarch and should do well when that competition comes around again.
I noticed something about his singing style and his music in general. If you listen to this song you will get a feel of Kerwin Du Bois and Machel Montano - the music styles are very similar. Now I don't know if that is deliberate but it is working for this young man. He is bringing good music and is spreading his talent across the Soca music styles that generated the most buzz.

So what about the song? I have to say that I like the track. It is not going to be a monster hit but it will give KI the recognition that will serve him well. The production was done by the very talented David Millien of Millbeatz Entertainment with the mastering done by Madman Johann of MadMen Productions. This is a good song!
