Now isn't that interesting? Right there in the Precision camp, the talent pool simply overflowed and from the 'musical fountain' we have the talent that produced this track entitled "Wining Champion".
I can hear you, but that is OK... If you want to say that I am drinking Precision kool-aid then so be it, but take note that this song could turn out to be the sleeper hit from this dynamic and let me add sweet listing of songs on the Sando Riddim!
We know that he (Preedy) can write but his ability to vocalize well written lyrical content is evident after listening to this debut track. Whatever happens from this point we know that he is a multi talented individual and one who should do well as a singer. All he needs to do is keep writing good lyrics and remain in the Precision Camp to enhance his career.
When I played the track I was immediately captured by his voice... smooth and easy on my ears. He has a nice singing style and sounds very comfortable doing this. One could not ask for a better debut song. He is on a riddim that is being sought after by Soca lovers all over the world. I have never seem so much initial interest in a riddim and that augers well for a first time artist. I consider this song the sleeper song on the riddim and after Machel and Isaac Blackman's song I like this one a lot. In my view this is the number two carnival song on the riddim. As I said before Isaac Blackman's song will be the one that will be continuously played after tje festival is over but the rest are Carnival songs and will have a Carnival live attached to them.
Apart from Trinidad and Tobago's carnival they will need to be promoted for the rest of the Carnivals in North America and the rest of the Caribbean region. Winning Champion will need much promotion because "Preedy" has not paid his dues to the industry and is not well known period.
Final thoughts on this excellent performance from the artist known as "Preedy"... good song, excellent vocal performance and sleeper song on the Sando Riddim!
