I did not post this song initially because I initially did not 'feel the vibe' that eventually got to me prompting this post. I am sure that everyone and anyone who loves music and especially Soca music cannot find a weak link on this riddim.
Initially I posted the song I liked for longevity (SOCA by Isaac Blackman), the one I believe is a guaranteed hit (Drop It by Machel Montano) and the one that brought out a surprise talent (and sleeper hit song in the making) in Akeem "Preedy" Chance who also co-wrote and added his vocals on this song by Patrice. Now I turn my attention to Patrice's song. She has a cadre of fans who will not forgive me for not paying respect to this talented singer from the HD camp. Patrice is a consistent singer and did her thing on this song. I am still wondering if she does not want to be roughed up or is asking to be roughed up (as in rough wining not violent for the sensitive readers).
This song has the potential for serious rough 'winers' in fetes across sweet TnT. Now if only the guys can take instructions and follow Patrice then the lady in front will enjoy the 'wuk up' i.e. if only these guys overflowing with testosterone can slow it down just a little bit. Life can be sweet and Patrice has the formula for niceness with this one. There is a lesson/message written in the lyrics and with Patrice sweet singing style 'feters' should not have any issue 'doing the right thing'! Just take it easy and "Doh Rough Up.

Final thoughts on the song, Patrice is consistent and when she delivers her vocals the music simply catches fire. Her vocal style is unparalleled in the Soca Industry and as the only female on the riddim one can say that she represented her gender with class and added a sexy touch/vibe to the Sando Riddim. The music is superb and this one was well orchestrated by the Precision team. Good job Patrice!
