When I listened to this track it really did not 'feel' like a Trini track; this song has a feel of music produced from 'up d'islands'. The music did not feel like Trinidad's style of Soca and even the singing style of the artist sounds/feels like music from 'up d'islands'. Maybe it is the music or the singing style of the artist. What does matter is that the new music is coming and it looks like we will be hearing a 'new vibe', 'a new style' of Soca music now that the Caribbean is shrinking in size when it comes to the 'sound of the music'.
