This is new music released by Farmer Nappy for the Summer of 2013 but with a focus on Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2014. In the mean time this song will settle in and be better known when Miami Carnival comes into play next month.
Farmer Nappy is doing most of his productions with the Red Boyz out of Barbados. Now just in case you did not know "De Red Boyz" team is made up of "36-year old Barbadian drummer, Mikey Hulsmeier and Trinidadian transplant, 30-year old guitarist Scott Galt" (http://deredboyz.com/). As you can see (and hear) the Bajans and Trinis continue to blaze the Soca trail with excellent music. "All Ah Dat" is just the beginning of sweet music releases for 2014.
The song was written by Jason 'Shaft Bishop and Darryl Henry. 'Shaft' wrote and sang one of my favorite songs titled 'Breadfruit' and of course Darryl Henry is none other than 'Farmer Nappy' (just in case you did not know).
Take a listen to the song and determine if this is one that you will be jamming to in Miami and later this year in Trinidad and Tobago as things begin to heat up for Carnival 2014.
