No Contest! Super Blue's Fantastic Friday is the Road March for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2013! Machel Montano's "Float" literally floated away as wave after wave of 'De Bouncing Start' washed away any hopes of MMHD repeating as Road March champ for Carnival 2013.

It was not even close, as a matter of fact it was the flogging that the teacher intended for his pupil who probably thought that his claim to fame (as Lion of Socadom) could help him float to the finish. However, it was a tsunami of epic proportions as Austin "Super Blue" Lyons Fantastic Friday trounced Machel Montano's Float by an overwhelming margin. Phew, talk about cut arse!

Well as 'The Mighty Sparrow' once said in song, 'Ten To One is Murder' and in this case, one can say, Super Blue has Soca blood on his hands! Austin Lyons was the 'King of Socadom' as band after band bounced all day to Fantastic Friday. This love/following helped him achieve the double standard for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival (Road March and Power Soca Winner). Indeed the World's largest street party/festival has witnessed the rebirth of the Soca Baptist; let us all hope that this crowning achievement is just the tip of the iceberg and that there will be many hit songs to follow. Congratulations are extended to this legendary Soca artist from everyone who loves the artist and reads Trinizagada!
