Fantastic Friday is here and it is time for the big dance. However, for this show, it will have to be the performance of an artists life on one given night to reach the coveted goal of Monarch for either category of the competition. Time's Up for Soca lovers, choose your winner now before the show start! Now if only we can see the show that would be sweet!
The stage is set for the singers to perform and for supporters to put up and shut up. However, there is just one small problem for persons not at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. The access to the Internet video feed is inaccessible! No Television feed from Carnival TV, the site that is streaming the show from the stadium. After signing up and receiving an access code the result on the day of the show is "SALT". This is like people in New York and the rest of the East Coast of the United States anticipating leaving for Trinidad and the Snow storm shutting down airports.

So after all the hype and the buildup to the the grandest Soca Show that will take place in any Caribbean Carnival for this year the site cannot handle the amount of people attempting to log on to see the show. I guess many of us will have to resort to a radio feed (hopefully one works) to get into the action. At the time of this writing WACK Radio 901FM out of San Fernando, Trinidad is playing the songs for tonight's show. I guess I should do the same and post the song.... Enjoy the show and take a listen to the songs as we all wait to gain access to see the show.

Machel won them Machel and Super Blue tied. Now that could only mean that Machel Montano won the Groovy Soca Competition then there was a tie for the Power Soca Competition. Machel Montano and Austin 'Super Blue' Lyons split the spoils for first place as the judges could not separate them ad declared a tier for the Power Soca Monarch bragging rights, It is a wrap!
