Doh Tell Mi | Nadia Batson | Trinidad Carnival 2013

Here come Nadia Batson on the 'Intercol Riddim' and she is raising serious dust as she heads to the 'Savannah' playing herself in one of those fantastic Carnival bands. That could happen but this song is already making a lot of noise on the Internet! Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin got immediate attention when the Riddim was released however something very interesting has happened. It looks like everyone is stating that this song by Nadia 'take de riddim' to state it like a born Trini!

The co-producers, AdvoKit Productions and Precision Productions, are probably sitting back and enjoying all the hype about this new riddim. Who is the boss on the Riddim? That, as I always say, is simply a matter of opinion. However, the rotation on the radio stations will eventually bring forth a leader and people will simply have to accept it or stay with the song they love. Personally I like the two songs by Bunji and Machel.

I will not waver or even venture to choose one as the better of the two tracks. The vocals simply compliment a very good riddim. Kudos to the production teams and the people producing the music. Nadia Batson is an excellent and very talented singer/performer and has the hottest song on this riddim as far as I can tell from the Internet chat rooms. She will perform in both the Groovy and Power Soca categories for the International Soca Monarch crowns on Fantastic Friday. Good luck Nadia!
