Still Drunk | Ian "Fojo" Corbin | Trinidad/St. Vincent 2013

If you want to listen to a song that was simply written for those whom are 'still drunk', then this is the song for you! The song was written and sung by Ian Corbin whose sobriquet is 'Fojo'. The pace of the song is fast but not too fast that you cannot simply 'get on bad with and simply have fun with your friends'.
I guess if you are in a fete and drinking this song may have some meaning to you unless, of course, you are in the party mood and simply can't recover from feting night after night. In that case you may be 'Still Drunk'. When it comes to the final run up to Carnival there are many people who remain in the party mode and go to work hearing music from the night before. Yes, many turn up on their jobs intoxicated and simply 'cyar wuk'.

Don't do much thinking about this song. It is a fun song and meant to simply give you the vibe to party and have fun. This one will only have what is called a 'Carnival life' and may never get airplay after the Carnival season is gone. However, the song captures the feeling of many Trinidadians when it comes to the party scene around Carnival time... they just want to party and have fun!
