This is a 758 SLU and Trinidad collaboration for Trinidad and Tobago's carnival 2013. This is new music from Devon Matthews that was produced by the Penn and Ace out of 758 Studios in St. Lucia.
The speed is designed for the road, it is one that will require a good level of energy if you really want to have a good time. The song should do very good in the Power Soca category and is one of the very few power Soca songs released to date.
If, however, you are not into rags and flags Soca songs then this song may not appeal to you! On the other hand, if you don't care then you should be able to get a real workout with this style of Soca. The Lucians can bring it (Power Soca) and that is probably the reason Devon chose 758 Studios for this offering.
This is one of the songs where you would like it because of the style or simply won't be interested. I get the feeling that Devon was 'trying too hard' with this one and at times it sounded like he was shouting instead of singing. However, some may say that is just the way it is done. What is your opinion?
