This is pure fusion music by Fay-Ann Lyons Alvarez & '5 Miles 2 Midnight' and it feels like it was done purely for Trinidad's Rock music lovers. It has a little bit of this and a little bit of that and comes across as simply an 'Alternative Trini Vibe'!
I have to admit that is one caught me by surprise because I am wondering how this one fits into the entire feel of the upcoming Carnival festivities. I guess they are blazing a new trail for others to follow - call it 'Rock Soca'!

This music style may come as a surprise to many hearing it done for the first time by someone like Fay-Ann but this experimentation has been going on for some time now. However, people in Trinidad are familiar with the very popular 'Skid"Neverly' who blast punk rock with sweet steelpan music.
