I am not sure what is the direction that the producer and singer are taking this song to. They places this on under the genre Soca on the islandmix.com music forum - this is not Soca! I really don't know what category to place this one. Initially I said that there would be fusions of music for Trinidad Carnival 2013 but did not expect something like this. Is this the future of Trinidad's carnival music - I hope not!

This production feels more like a Caribbean vibe dressed up to please a Brooklyn following. This is definitely a vibe from the Caribbean and definitely not home grown in Trinidad and Tobago. To each his own and this song will have those who love it.... I can't relate to it!
