Sometimes a song comes along and you are not sure what it will do and then there are those that come along and, just like that, you know it will be a hit! Well here is a song that was released and posted back on September 19 (this month) that I missed. Ashley Kerton is the singer and the name of the track is 'Presha'.

This song is a sleeper; keep your eyes on this young lady not because she is cute but because she has a sweet sounding and very strong confident voice.

The song itself is 'presha'. If you listen to it you may say hmmm... OK for the first listen. However, listen to it again and you will realize that this young lady has a hit in the making. As I mentioned before her vocals are strong and her diction is very good.In other words you can understand what she is singing (no muddled vocals here) and the music is slammin'! I don't just give this song a pass... "Performer Ashley Inniss was born December 3rd 1986, she resided in East Side Trinidad, Valsayn most of her life. From an early age it was obvious that Ashley had a passion for singing and performing always dabbling in music from the School Choir to the classroom at COSTATT studying Music Theory.

After becoming certified she was ready for a new venture which prompted her to join a local Soca band "VIZION". Although her experience with Vizion was short lived, that training ground eventually became the catalyst for her singing career.

In 2009 she was fortunate to share the stage with veteran Tony Prescott and the band Surface after auditioning in 2008. The excitement about the new chapter in her career was diluted to a bittersweet moment when she discovered she was pregnant immediately after the carnival season...

At this crossroad in her life she decided to make family her priority by resigning from Surface after two years of getting things in perspective.This year she's back with one of her offerings for Carnival 2k13, "PRESHA" which was written and inspired by producer/song writer DNYCE. Soon she'll be releasing her other groovy track so look out for it"
