On September 12, 2012 Erphaan Alves' song iNever was featured on mtviggy.com! This young man is on the move and not just making waves but is on the move in the right direction. It is a compliment when MTV features your music. Kudos to Erphaan. Now having said that, I have to repeat what I said in a previous post. The music for Carnival 2013 in Trinidad will not be the same (at least not traditional Soca) because the music is now a fusion of several genres with the core of the music remaining Soca! The new generation of artists along with innovative thinking music producers are carving up the music adding their own special flavors and are coming up with music that can be played year round and in any music market! Watch out people because the Trinidad and Tobago 'music corporation' is changing the sound of Caribbean music - 2013 will be CRAZY!
