Last night the Grenada Groovy and Power Soca Monarch Competitions took place with much success and a bottle throwing incident when the Power Soca results were announced. The majority of the people celebrated the results and are not geared up for a weekend of feting as Carnival Monday approaches to bring about a celebrated climax to another year of Carnival jubilation.
1. Short Pree (Finber Andrew from Carriacou won with a score of 254 points)
2. Randy Isaac - Second Place with 232 points
3. Scholar (Finley Jeffrey) - Third place with 226 points
