The reigning Wadadli Beer Calypso Monarch from 2011 repeated for Carnival 2012. Calypsonian Keithroy “De Bear” Morson came out on top and was crowned Calypso Monarch of Antigua & Barbuda for Carnival 2012. De Bear battlying for the Wadadli Beer Calypso Monarch title defeated nine contenders to emerge as reigning and still champion of Antigua and Barbuda on Sundar August 5, 2012 at the Antigua Recreation Grounds.
