I am very pleased to let everyone know that I am now featuring a stand alone Steel Pan media player on the side bar just above the 'Featured Video Player' or it can be accessed on the stand alone Steel Pan Page. This media player will feature 51 pan selections for your listening pleasure and will always be available. From time to time I will adjust the music presented. The first 51 tracks were randomly selected and placed to get things going. I will (over time) provide a greater selection of steel pan performances via individual play or orchestra. We have only just begun to explore the culture and the blog will attempt to provide a piece of everything that our homeland has to offer.
I am pleased that the blog is able to provide a streaming radio station (I will change the stations over time (rotate stations) and now the steel pan media player to accompany the featured video player. The blog itself has a good selection of music. Most of the audio selections are posted under the music section instead of the Calypso, Soca or Chutney music selections. This was done because the genres are all crossing over and it can be difficult (at times) to distinguish what is and is not Soca etc.
