"Happy" | Pupa L'eendi

This song was was done for the Carriacou/Grenada Carnival 2012 as well as Spicemas 2012 and now we have to add Trinidad Carnival 2012 to the list. This is the music of a Soca singer named Pupa L'eendi and the name of this offering is "Happy".

He is known as the Don Man of Cariacou and sings a positive song titled "Happy". He celebrates life and give thanks that he able to 'feel it" in music and dance. One thing to note here is that we don't get enough of the 'socalled small island music' in Trinidad and Tobago. I do think that the volume of music coming out of Trinidad could be one of the reasons why we don't get much of the music but then again these festivals are not celebrated at the same time with Trinidad's carnival. Trinidad's radio stations need to pay attention to what is going on in the islands but then again the problem is the same at home - one or two stations play Soca and Calypso year round.

Until we get it right, Trinizagada will make an effort to bring the music from these regions as they become available. This is Pupa L'eendi's Happy!
