Glo Ko Ko | Mongster | Saint Lucia 2011

I have not featured any St. Lucian music (that I am aware of to date) on my blog prior to this one. This song was sung by Soca Singer "Mongster" and is titled Glo Ko Ko.

Now some help is needed to understand what is Glo Ko Ko or as the St. Lucians like to say Gros KoKo (I think it means big.... ahem, use your imagination here). Well I think Glo Ko Ko has something to do with Coconut Water.

We are not talking about the coconut woman but any Lucian will get it quickly. Having said that, we know how West Indians relate anything relating to nuts and the male anatomy. Well listen up as Mogster sings about the drink that replenishes the body and in many ways may or may not be what the song Glo Ko Ko is all about... You be the judge!

The following was taken from the YouTube post for the song:
"This is a love story that takes him and his lady from their first meeting to different spots where she is begging for the glo-ko-ko as chaser to her fever. And it is heat that Glo-ko-ko will raise when it hits the airwaves and dance floors -- so get yourself some chaser with this one by the soca phenom Mongster."
